Based in Bournemouth, on the south coast of the UK, I am a Multi-skilled 3D and 2D Motion Designer and Animator. Highly skilled in After Effects and Cinema 4D, with over 28 years experience in design, branding and marketing; I am very comfortable working directly with brands and businesses, agencies and studios.

What does SMOTION DO?

I tell your story. That can be in the form of a looping animated Gif to a 3-minute bespoke animation. Got an idea for that new product explainer film? Let’s do it. Concept, Storyboard, Design, Animation, and even Voiceover, should you require. All created with passion, care, attention to detail, and creative flair.

I am also highly skilled in conceptual image creation, in both 3D & 2D.

Sometimes this is just me, or in some cases, project dependent, I collaborate with other talented filmmakers, photographers and writers.

What’s your set-up?

I work from my home studio, with a custom build PC running Cinema 4D, Redshift, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere and all the other essential Adobe Creative Cloud apps.
